Copac will be unavailable for a short time on Tuesday 26th April. The downtime may last up to half an hour, some time between 8-10am. This is to address recent hardware performance issues. We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause you.

Imperial library reload
We are currently reloading the Imperial College London catalogue to reflect local catalogue changes. Consequently, around 40% of the Imperial catalogue will be unavailable on Copac this week. The full catalogue should be available from next Monday.
Apologies for the short-term loss of availability of this material.
Hardware move complete
The Copac hardware move is now complete. We’re hoping the only change you notice is improved response times! But if you have any problems please get in touch with the helpdesk: copac@mimas.ac.uk
Hardware move coming soon…
Copac will be moving onto new hardware on Tuesday 24th August. This is an ‘exciting’ day for us, but we don’t expect most people using Copac to notice the changeover. However, it will take time for the change to be picked up by all machines across the network. This means that if you use the login interface to Copac on Tuesday 24th there is a possibility that any records added to your reference list etc. may be saved onto the old version of Copac and will be lost when your local DNS starts pointing you towards the new one. So we suggest that on Tuesday 24th August you use the non-login version of Copac. If you have any questions please get in touch with the helpdesk: copac@mimas.ac.uk
Copac unavailability: update
Due to a hardware fault, many Mimas services, including Copac, have been unavailable over the past few days. This fault has now been resolved, and the services have been restored. However, stability is not assured, and further brief outages may occur. We hope that these will be minor, and not greatly impact on the service.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this unavailability, and thank you all for your patience.
Copac ‘at risk’: emergency maintenance this morning (12th March)
As a result of recent hardware problems Copac is currently running ‘at risk’, as are other Mimas services. Emergency maintenance is planned for this morning (12th March) and Copac will be unavailable whilst this takes place, but it should only be for a short time. Apologies for this further loss of service.
Scheduled maintenance cancelled
As a result of systems work done today, tomorrow’s scheduled maintenance has now been cancelled.
Thank you for your patience.
Copac scheduled maintenance
Due to scheduled maintenance, the Copac service will be at risk on the morning of Tuesday 17th February. Work is expected to take place between 7am-10am, but please be aware that the service may be at risk outside these times.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Copac Maintenance brought forward to 12th February
On Tuesday 12th February, between 08:00 am to 10:00 am, we will be carrying out maintenance on the Copac service. Copac will be unavailable for a short period during this time. We are not expecting the downtime to last more than 15-30 minutes, but the service should be considered at risk during 08:00 to 10:00 am.
